An overview of this program’s objectives and how you can benefit The Private Wealth Management (PWM) Analyst Programme is a three-year non-rotational programme. The Analyst programme kicks off in early July with a comprehensive orientation and training programme designed to help Analysts become acclimated to the firm. Private Wealth Management provides highly customised financial advice, investment solutions and brokerage services to individuals, families and foundations—most with $10 million or more in investable assets. We specialise in providing our ultrahigh net worth clients custom-tailored financial solutions and access to sophisticated expertise and investments typically reserved for large corporations, financial institutions and governments. Analysts in PWM will be placed into one of two specific areas and will work closely with product and trading specialists from across the firm to gain a thorough understanding of the uses and applications of sophisticated financial tools and the full range of Morgan Stanley financial products. Investment Group (IG)
Developing Your Career High-performing Analysts on the sales side are promoted to Associates after three years. Associates are expected to acquire and manage clients, with the support of a senior Investment Advisor, and build up their own independent client base. High performing Analysts in the Investment Group (IG) are also promoted to Associates after three years. As Associates, they can take on more responsibility for the management of the discretionary portfolios with the IG. Senior management takes a keen interest in your progress as an Analyst, and will look to you for fresh perspectives and new ideas. You will be encouraged to take on responsibility quickly with a view to developing your career. Is Private Wealth Management Right for You?
Requirements Requirements include an undergraduate degree and a keen interest in the financial services industry. A relevant major such as business or economics is preferred although not compulsory. A CV that shows work experience in a related field is also required. Selection Process Selected applicants will be invited to attend an assessment day, which will include a group exercise, a presentation exercise, verbal and numerical reasoning tests, and interviews with experienced professionals from the business.
