An overview of this program's objectives and how you can benefit The ten-week Summer Analyst Program provides an opportunity to experience the culture and atmosphere of Morgan Stanley by taking on the responsibilities and functions of full-time Analysts. After a five-day intensive training program, you will spend the summer within a specific group, building a strong foundation in the basic skills of financial analysis, accounting and valuation, and working on a wide range of transactions. You will receive continuing on-the-job training throughout the summer and benefit from working alongside experienced professionals on meaningful projects. As a Summer Analyst, you might accompany clients on a road show for a headline-making equity offering, participate in the execution of an M&A transaction or analyze financial information in preparation for making a strategic recommendation to a top client. Summer Analysts are hired into our branch offices in the Americas in addition to New York. Our branch offices include Calgary, Chicago, Houston, Los Angeles, Menlo Park, Mexico City, San Francisco, Sao Paulo and Toronto.
